Building History
Edna Lucille Goodrich Building, four stories and 210,759 square feet, is located in Tumwater, Washington, just miles from the state capital. Developed for the State of Washington and completed in July 2005, the building houses over 1,000 employees, making it one of the most efficient office buildings in the state’s inventory.
The exterior plaza to the northeast is a primary design feature and creates an urban space that will complement Tumwater’s future Town Center. The main entry to the southwest welcomes visitors and employees with a large landscaped space and a split-face limestone “feature wall.” The main floor lobby connects these two exterior spaces.
Classic materials such as brick, metal, and stone interpreted in a modern way were used to create a timeless building.
The building has nearly 2,400 square feet of retail space on the first floor.
The Edna Lucille Goodrich Building received LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council in July 2005.
